PVOIL Rotates and Appoints Directors of Four Subsidiaries

Recently, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) implemented the rotation and appointment of Directors at four subsidiary companies in the Northern Coastal Region.

Accordingly, PVOIL announced decisions regarding the rotation and appointment of Directors at the following companies: PVOIL Hai Phong, PVOIL Nam Dinh, PVOIL Cai Lan, and PVOIL Hung Yen.

Specifically, Mr Nguyen Trung Huu has been relieved from his position as Director of PVOIL Hai Phong and appointed as Director of PVOIL Nam Dinh. Mr Ton Quoc Binh has been relieved from his position as Director of PVOIL Nam Dinh and appointed as Director of PVOIL Cai Lan. Mr Le Thanh Xiem, previously Deputy Director of PVOIL Hai Phong, has been appointed as Director of PVOIL Hung Yen. Mr Quach Van Son has been relieved from his position as Director of PVOIL Hung Yen and appointed as Director of PVOIL Hai Phong.

At the leadership appointment ceremony held in PVOIL Nam Dinh on September 29, Mr Cao Hoai Duong – Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Board of Directors of PVOIL – acknowledged and highly appreciated the efforts to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, achieve significant business results, and improve service quality at the subsidiaries, all of which contributed to PVOIL’s overall performance. He emphasized that staff rotation is a regular part of PVOIL’s governance and management practices and is aligned with Party regulations and the guidance of Vietnam National Industry – Energy Group (Petrovietnam). He expressed his belief that the reshuffle would create new motivation and innovation for both employees and enterprises, and expected the appointed officials to capitalize on their strengths, address shortcomings, and fulfill their new responsibilities effectively—contributing even more to their respective units and to PVOIL as a whole.

During the ceremonies at PVOIL Hai Phong and PVOIL Cai Lan on October 1, and at PVOIL Hung Yen on October 9, Mr Nguyen Dang Trinh – Vice Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO of PVOIL – shared specific evaluations regarding the qualifications and expectations for each rotated and appointed leader. He affirmed that these are well-qualified individuals capable of immediately grasping and maintaining the business operations of their respective subsidiaries. He also directed all units to strengthen governance capacity, enhance technological applications, and reduce costs to improve competitiveness. He expected the newly appointed leaders to take bold actions, leverage their experience and capabilities, and create new breakthroughs in development.

In their speeches upon accepting the new roles, the appointed officials expressed sincere gratitude for the trust and support of PVOIL’s leadership. They committed to inheriting and advancing the accomplishments of their predecessors, upholding unity, and taking full responsibility to successfully fulfill their tasks. Their foremost goal is to drive sustainable growth of the units, improve employee welfare, and meet the expectations of PVOIL’s leadership and workforce.
