PVOIL Appoints Chairwoman of Members’ Council of PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading

On March 12, 2026, at the headquarters of Vietnam Oil Corporation – JSC (PVOIL), a ceremony was held to announce and present the appointment decision for Ms Le Thi Thu Huong – Vice President of PVOIL, who will concurrently serve as Chairwoman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Lao Company Limited (PVOIL Lao) and PVOIL Lao Trading Sole Member Company Limited (PVOIL Lao Trading).

Attending the ceremony were Mr Cao Hoai Duong – Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of PVOIL, members of the Corporation’s leadership, heads of professional divisions, and key personnel from PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading.

At the ceremony, Mr Bui Huu Quyen – Director of PVOIL Lao, presented a report on the business performance of the unit in 2025 and the first two months of 2026. Despite fluctuations in the regional energy market, PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading maintained stable operations and ensured a consistent fuel supply for the Lao market.

Speaking at the event, Mr Cao Hoai Duong congratulated Ms Le Thi Thu Huong on being entrusted with the new role by the Corporation’s leadership. He highly appreciated her extensive experience in management and business operations, particularly in international investment.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors expressed his confidence that, in her new position, Ms Huong will continue to leverage her capabilities, leadership, and experience to drive the strong development of PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading, enhance business performance, and improve both material and spiritual well-being for employees.

He emphasized that, regardless of favorable or challenging business conditions, PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading have consistently remained symbols of successful Vietnamese enterprises in Laos, contributing to strengthening the cooperative and friendly relations between the two countries.

In her acceptance speech, Ms Le Thi Thu Huong expressed her honor at being entrusted with this important responsibility. She affirmed her commitment to working closely with the leadership and employees of PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading to promote unity, responsibility, and innovation in achieving the Corporation’s business objectives.

In the context of a volatile global energy market, Ms Huong pledged that both units will proactively ensure a stable fuel supply, avoid disruptions in the supply chain, diversify import sources, enhance storage capacity, and explore new development opportunities.

She also expressed her hope to continue receiving support from the Corporation’s leadership and the collective efforts of all employees to build PVOIL Lao and PVOIL Lao Trading into sustainable and growing enterprises in the future.
