As soon as the government of Ho Chi Minh City applied Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, starting July 9, 2021, PVOIL implemented the “3 on-site” regime at Nha Be Petroleum storage to ensure production and Covid-19 pandemic prevention. The regime meets the safety requirements for workers inside the factory.

Following the Nha Be Petroleum storage, PVOIL actively implemented a similar plan at the Mien Dong Petroleum storage in Vung Tau city from July 13th 2021.

Accordingly, PVOIL arranged 39 employees of PVOIL Nha Be, accounting for 37% of the total number of employees of the storage and 53 employees of PVOIL Mien Dong, or 34% of the total number of employees of the storage to implement on-site sleepovers. They are allowed to work, eat, and rest in the site for 15 days, and will be continue to follow the actual developments of the Covid-19 pandemic prevention. At the same time, the storages also arranged backup personnel for necessary situations.

PVOIL has timely provided supports to motivate employees concentrating to the new working regime. In addition to salary and meal, PVOIL allocates each staff 1 million VND for personal care items, to repair bed rooms, buy equipment to serve their daily needs. Employees daily meal was also added 100,000 VND a person per day. PVOIL supported them with 1 million VND each person from the “PVOIL with one heart” Fund.

Since July 9th, 2021, PVOIL Nha Be and PVOIL Mien Dong have continuously maintained productions, distributing more than 25,000 cubic meters of petroleum to 405 tank trucks, 17 ships/barges. The petroleum served consumption demand of PVOIL petroleum stations and customers in Ho Chi Minh city, Mekong Delta, Southeastern provinces, South Central Highlands and the South Central.

PVOIL’s efforts help ensure the petroleum supply during the complicated situation of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Leaders and staff of PVOIL Nha Be are determined to overcome difficulties, ensuring production safety as well as health and safety. We aim at ensuring uninterrupted supply of petroleum” said Mr. Ngo Duc Dung, Director of PVOIL Nha Be.
