PVOIL Youth Union organizes the first 'Green Saturday' program of 2025

In response to activities celebrating the Party Congresses at all levels, and in preparation for the 4th Congress of the Party Committee of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) for the 2025–2030 term; as well as commemorating the 94th anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 – March 26, 2025), the PVOIL Youth Union organized the first “Green Saturday” program of 2025 on March 29, 2025. The event attracted the participation of hundreds of youth union members across more than 100 locations throughout the entire system.

The program was held at the Tay Ninh Oil Depot under PVOIL Sai Gon and simultaneously carried out at petrol stations, oil depots, barges, and office sites of PVOIL nationwide. This practical activity contributes to effectively implementing two key initiatives of the Corporation: “Improving customer service quality at petrol stations” and “Improving customer service quality at oil depots.”

With a spirit of volunteerism, enthusiasm, and responsibility, the youth union members undertook various specific and meaningful tasks such as: cleaning up premises, planting trees and flowers to beautify the surroundings; tidying and repainting tanks, fences, and work areas; cleaning and inspecting fuel dispensers and fire prevention equipment; organizing files, sample storage areas; and conducting minor repairs in restrooms to ensure cleanliness and civility.

This activity not only beautifies the workplace and environment but also reflects the commitment of PVOIL's youth to support the company in enhancing customer service quality, while spreading the PVOIL image and brand to the public.

Sharing her thoughts on the program, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Thuy – a staff member at the Corporation’s headquarters, said: “This is a very meaningful activity. As an office employee, participating in hands-on work at the oil depot allowed me to directly experience the working conditions of depot staff and understand their daily challenges, especially in hot weather. I am also very happy to contribute my youth and energy to improving the environment at the Tay Ninh depot through the ‘Green Saturday’ program.”

The program will continue throughout 2025, aiming to maintain a green – clean – beautiful environment, improve service quality, and enhance customer experience across the PVOIL network.
