PVOIL Trans Strengthens Its Leadership Team

On July 18, in Ho Chi Minh City, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) held a ceremony to announce and present decisions from the Corporation’s Board of Directors regarding personnel appointments for PetroVietnam Oil Transportation – One – Member Limited Company (PVOIL Trans).

The event was chaired by Mr Nguyen Dang Trinh – Vice Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO of the Corporation, PVOIL officially announced the decision for Mr Truong Dai Hoang – Vice President of the Corporation to step down from his concurrent position as Chairman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans.

At the same time, PVOIL decided that Mr Le Trung Hung – Vice President of the Corporation would step down as Director and Legal Representative of PVOIL Trans, and concurrently be appointed as Chairman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans. Ms Le Quynh Trang – Deputy Head of the Petroleum Products Division of the Corporation was appointed as Member of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans. Mr Mai Trung Thanh – Deputy Director in charge of PVOIL Trans, was appointed as Member of the Members’ Council, Director, and Legal Representative of PVOIL Trans.

In his remarks, Mr Nguyen Dang Trinh – Vice Secretary of Party Committee, President & CEO of the Corporation, acknowledged the contributions of Mr Truong Dai Hoang during his tenure as Chairman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans and extended congratulations to the newly appointed executives.

The President & CEO highly appreciated the strong development of PVOIL Trans in recent years, especially after the successful restructuring and transformation of its operational model, in line with the Corporation’s strategic orientation. He also reaffirmed the Corporation’s trust in assigning PVOIL Trans to spearhead the development of non-oil services across the PVOIL system. With the strengthened leadership, the Corporation believes that the young, dynamic, and innovative leadership team of PVOIL Trans will be the driving force to elevate the company into a leading petroleum transport unit and a key center for non-oil services. In the period ahead, PVOIL Trans is expected to enhance corporate governance, embrace digital transformation, control costs, strengthen training and workforce development to improve competitiveness. At the same time, the company must ensure safety, foster unity, set ambitious goals and strategies, and aim for breakthrough growth - contributing meaningfully to the Corporation’s overall development.

Speaking on behalf of the Members’ Council of the Company, Mr Le Trung Hung – Vice President of the Corporation, Chairman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans, expressed gratitude for the directives from the Corporation’s leadership. He affirmed that the leadership team of PVOIL Trans will focus on building specific programs and action plans, with strong determination to accomplish the political and business tasks entrusted by the Corporation. He also sincerely thanked Mr Truong Dai Hoang for his significant contributions during his tenure as Chairman of the Members’ Council of the Company.

On this occasion, Mr Truong Dai Hoang – Vice President of the Corporation, former Chairman of the Members’ Council of PVOIL Trans, expressed his emotional attachment and pride in the journey he shared with the leadership team and employees of PVOIL Trans. Despite the many market fluctuations during his tenure, the entire team stayed united, overcame difficulties, and successfully completed the tasks assigned by the Corporation. He pledged to continue supporting and accompanying PVOIL Trans in its future development.

In his inaugural speech, Mr Mai Trung Thanh – Member of the Members’ Council, Director of PVOIL Trans, expressed his sincere thanks to the Corporation’s leadership and all employees of PVOIL Trans for entrusting him with this new responsibility. He acknowledged this as both a great honor and a profound responsibility, especially as the Company enters a new phase of development—not only maintaining its core role in petroleum transport, but also expanding strongly into new service areas, transforming from a traditional enterprise into an integrated service provider applying advanced technology to increase value and foster sustainable development. He committed to continuing the spirit of unity, taking bold initiatives, embracing accountability, and driving innovation in governance. He pledged to work alongside the leadership team and employees to build a stronger, more efficient, and modern PVOIL Trans—worthy of being the trusted extended arm of the Corporation in the field of transportation, energy logistics, and integrated services.
