PVOIL support 46 orphans due to Covid-19 pandemic in HCMC’s Nha Be district

PetroVietnam Oil Corporation, known as PVOIL, has committed to support 46 children who lost parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic in Nha Be district, Ho Chi Minh City.

This is another meaningful activity among several programs the Corporation has performed to help fighting the pandemic which has left several consequences to the people of Ho Chi Minh City. Becoming orphans due to the Covid-19 pandemic has been an enormous pain for the children.

Sharing this pain, PVOIL coordinated with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Be district to support and take care the children until they turn 18 years old.
Specifically, PVOIL will give each child lost either father or mother 1 million VND/month. Four orphans lost both parents will receive 2 million VND/month each. Total monthly support amount is 50 million VND.

On November 16, 2021, at the meeting to celebrate the 91st anniversary of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Traditional Day organized by the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nha Be district, on behalf of PVOIL, Mr. Doan Duy Cong - Chairman of PVOIL Trade Union handed over a symbolic board to support and take care of 46 children to the leader of the Nha Be district Fatherland Front Committee
