PVOIL Mien Trung Appoints New Director

On November 27, 2024, in Da Nang, a ceremony took place to officially announce the appointment of the Director of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) Mien Trung.

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Dang Trinh, a Member of the Board of Directors and Vice President of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL), along with representatives from the Divisions, the Leadership Team, and key personnel of PVOIL Mien Trung.

As a result, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc has stepped down as the authorized representative of PVOIL at PVOIL Mien Trung, ceased his role on the Board of Directors, and relinquished his position as Director of the company. Meanwhile, the Corporation has reassigned Mr. Tran Manh Ha as the new authorized representative of PVOIL at PVOIL Mien Trung, appointed him to the Board of Directors, and appointed him as the new Director of PVOIL Mien Trung, replacing Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc.

At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Dang Trinh, Vice President of the Corporation, assessed that PVOIL Hanoi and PVOIL Mien Trung are the two largest subsidiaries in terms of production and scale within the system. Therefore, the Corporation's leadership is confident in entrusting Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc and Mr. Tran Manh Ha, two capable and experienced leaders, with the positions of Directors of these two subsidiaries. Over the years, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc and Mr. Tran Manh Ha have made significant contributions to the development of PVOIL Hanoi and PVOIL Mien Trung, making them leading subsidiaries within the PVOIL system. With his experience in managing PVOIL Hanoi, the Corporation’s leadership is confident that Mr. Tran Manh Ha will excel in his new role, utilizing his strengths to contribute to the growth of PVOIL Mien Trung. The leadership encourages the Board and employees of PVOIL Mien Trung to continue working together, united, to further uphold the tradition of successfully completing the tasks assigned by the Corporation.

In his acceptance speech, Mr. Tran Manh Ha, Director of PVOIL Mien Trung, thanked the Corporation's leadership for their trust in appointing him to the role. He also expressed appreciation for the support from Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc. Mr. Tran Manh Ha acknowledged the responsibility and pressure that comes with the position, which motivates him to work even harder to meet the challenges ahead. He looks forward to receiving continued guidance from the Corporation’s leadership, cooperation from the subsidiaries, and the support of the PVOIL Mien Trung team. With his dedication, he aims to lead PVOIL Mien Trung in achieving its goals and maintaining its strong tradition of success.

In his remarks, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc extended his congratulations to Mr. Tran Manh Ha. He also shared his appreciation for the trust shown by the Corporation's leadership in assigning him a new role. Mr. Nguyen Hoang Phuc thanked the team at PVOIL Mien Trung for their cooperation during his time with the subsidiary. He expressed his hope that the PVOIL Mien Trung team would continue to support the new Director and work together to achieve the tasks ahead.
