PVOIL donates ambulance to support COVID-19 pandemic prevention

On May 21st, 2021, at the People's Committee of Kim Dong district in Hung Yen province, representatives of PVOIL presented the locality an ambulance which will be used for medical work and COVID-19 prevention.
The handover ceremony was attended by Mr. Vu Hoai Lam, Vice President of PVOIL and Mr. Bui Van Phuc, Deputy Secretary of the Kim Dong District’s Party Committee, Chairman of the District People's Committee, and leaders of the district’s healthcare center attended the event.
The ambulance presented to the locality is a specialized medical vehicle of Hyundai Starex brand. It was manufactured in 2021 and imported from South Korea. The vehicle has value at more than 770 million VND.
The ambulance is equipped with modern equipment including portable stretcher, hand stretcher, oxygen tank, lights, necessary medical supply drawers. The equipment high flexibility ensures emergency requirements, safe patient transport.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Vu Hoai Lam, Deputy General Director of PVOIL, said the corporation has carried out several activities to support the community fighting against pandemic such as: donating rice to rice ATMs, distributing medical masks to customers and people at PVOIL's petroleum stations, donating money for buying virus test kits, donating petroleum to vehicles participating in pandemic prevention in Da Nang as well as donating petroleum to vehicles participating in the rescue of agricultural products in Hai Duong province since the COVID-19 pandemic broke out in 2020.
The donation of ambulances to Kim Dong district is one of the social security activities that PVOIL is doing to support the community. The donation is in line with the call to join hand to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic nationwide.
