PVOIL’s Petroleum Technical and HSE divisions have new leaders

On October 23rd, 2020, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation organised a ceremony to appoint new leaders of the corporation’s Petroleum Technical and Health, Safety and Environment divisions.

The ceremony was chaired by Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, the corporation’s Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management, and PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom. The event was also attended by members of the Board of Directors and employees.

Accordingly, PVOIL appointed Mr. Nguyen Quang Nham, deputy manager in charge of the HSE Department to the position as Deputy Head of Petroleum Technical Department. Mr. Trinh Tran Giang – expert at the Quality Safety Department and General Director Assistant of the Corporation holds the position as Deputy Manager in charge of the HSE Department.

Addressing the two newly-appointed leaders, PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom emphasized the importance of the Petroleum Technical Department and HSE Department for the corporation’s production and business development.

The PVOIL president & CEO asked the two divisions to continue maintaining and promoting their role in the research and manufacture of quality products

He urged the department to ensure safety in the production, storage, transportation process and retail of petroleum. In the coming times, the departments were encouraged to strengthen research and improvement of the technology system to improve product quality, reducing production costs to create a competitive advantage in the petroleum trading market.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management Cao Hoai Duong congratulated Mr. Nguyen Quang Nham and Mr. Trinh Tran Giang in the new positions and wished them to successfully complete the assigned tasks.

As senior officials with experience in management and strong professional expertise, the two new department leaders were expected to perform well with their new roles. The Petroleum Technical Department and HSE Department are very important divisions of the Corporation.

In addition to the current tasks, boards and divisions of the corporation were encouraged to invest in researching new products to create stronger competitiveness in the petroleum market, advising the corporation’s leaders with effective solutions in production and business activities.

Accepting the nomination, Mr. Nguyen Quang Nham - Deputy Head of Petroleum Technical Department and Mr. Trinh Tran Giang - Deputy in charge of HSE Department thanked assignment from the Board of Directors of the Corporation.

Leaders of the two divisions promised to unite and coordinate in performing assigned tasks. They said they would do their best and promote their abilities and experience for the further development of PVOIL.
