PVOIL Trade Union holds its focal congress for the 2023-2028 term

On the morning of March 17th, 2023, the Trade Union of PVOIL Phu Yen held its 3rd Congress for the 2023-2028 term. This is a unit under the direction of the Trade Union of the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation to organize a Congress in the system of grassroots trade unions under the PVOIL Trade Union.

The Congress was attended by Mr. Phan Quoc Thang - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation of Phu Yen, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tu - Member of the Party Committee Standing Committee, Deputy General Director of the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation, Mr. Doan Duy Cong - Chairman of the Trade Union of PVOIL, along with members of the Executive Committee of the Trade Union of the Corporation, Chairmen of grassroots trade unions under the PVOIL Trade Union and 120 delegates representing nearly 300 PVOIL Phu Yen’s workers.

The Congress of the PVOIL Phu Yen’s Trade Union was held solemnly, seriously, according to procedures, and ensuring all contents according to the plan and guidance of the PVOIL Trade Union.

With a high spirit of unity and agreement, the Congress elected the Executive Committee of the PVOIL Phu Yen’s Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term consisting of 9 members; the Executive Committee also elected the Standing Committee consisting of 3 members, in which Mr. Tran Van Hay was re-elected as Chairman of the PVOIL Phu Yen Trade Union. The Congress also elected 6 official delegates to attend the PVOIL Trade Union Congress and 1 alternate delegate.

According to the plan, grassroots trade unions under the PVOIL Trade Union will hold Congresses from March 17th to April 21st, 2023; moving towards the 4th Congress of the Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation Trade Union for the 2023-2028 term which will take place in June 2023.
