PVOIL organizes gratitude activities to commemorate Invalids and Martyrs' Day

On the occasion of the 76th anniversary of Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2023), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation organized activities to express gratitude to Heroes and Martyrs, revolutionary soldiers fought and sacrificed for nation’s independence and peace.
On July 27, 2023, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL, PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of PVOIL came to offer incense at the Martyrs Cemetery in Ho Chi Minh City.
In the solemn atmosphere, the Board of Management of PVOIL respectfully offered incense to express gratitude, remembrance, and profound gratitude to the Heroes and Martyrs, the outstanding children of the nation who fought bravely and died for the nation’s liberation, independence and freedom.
Also during this occasion, on July 26th, 2023, PVOIL’s leaders visited and presented gifts to 72 Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Martyrs' Mothers in Cu Chi district. At each place visited, leaders and staff of PVOIL graciously expressed their gratitude for the great sacrifices and contributions of martyrs and wounded soldiers.

At the same time, they encourage the families of war invalids and martyrs to continue promoting the revolutionary tradition, overcome difficulties and diseases to build a happy and prosperous family, continue to set an example and educate their children and grandchildren to promote good traditions, and study hard to become helpful citizens.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation presented 67 gifts to employees, retired officers of the Corporation who are wounded soldiers, relatives of martyrs and victims of Agent Orange.
At affiliated units, member units of the Corporation, the leaders and trade union organizations, the Youth Union, and the Veterans Association of the unit have also organized meaningful and practical activities to express gratitude to the Invalids, Martyrs' families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
With the activities, PVOIL shows its responsibility to the previous generations, to the society, as well as educating the young generation of the Corporation in revolutionary traditions.
