PVOIL opened two new petroleum stations to celebrate Lunar New Year 2019

As a celebration for Lunar New Year 2019, PVOIL launched two new petroleum stations, raising total retail outlet number of the network to 546 nationwide.
Accordingly, on January 7th 2019, petroleum station No. 2 of Petromekong Company at 60 – 62 3/2 street, Xuan Khanh ward, Ninh Kieu district, Can Tho city was officially put in operation with expected monthly sales at 200 cubic meters. This new petroleum station is 46th station of Petromekong Company in Mekong Delta region and this is also the company’s 4th petroleum station in Can Tho city. The station with 30-meter-long front area is located on 583.7 square meters land at venue.
Then, on January 30th 2019, PVOIL Phu Yen inaugurated Dong Phu Thien petroleum station. The new station was installed on 2,300 square meters land, with front area stretching up to 35 meters. The station locates at National Highway No. 25’s 137th kilometer at Thanh Trang Hamlet, Ia Piar Commune, Phu Thien District in Gia Lai province. PVOIL Phu Yen, a subsidiary of PVOIL expected this new petroleum station has consumption capacity of 60 square meters per month. Currently, PVOIL Phu Yen operates 46 petroleum station in 5 provinces including Phu Yen, Gia Lai, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak and Binh Dinh. Among the localities, Gia Lai, a neighbouring province with Phu Yen to the East has 15 stations.
Both two new petroleum stations has 4 pumps each and sell three types of petroleum, which are DO 0,05S-II, RON 95-III, E5 RON 92-II and lubricant product - PVOIL Lube.
Inauguration of two new petroleum stations in the first month of 2019 is one of specific steps that PVOIL adopted for further business development from boosting sales through retail system. With this strategy, PVOIL and its subsidiaries determined to continue expanding system retail outlets under various forms for bigger market share and retail output.
In 2018, retail system of PVOIL sold out 703.000 cubic meters petroleum, accounting for 25,3% of total sales of the corporation, an increase of 2,1 percentage point against 2017. Averagely, each rerail outlet sold out 109 cubic meter each month. In other words, monthly, each retail outlet sold 2 cubic meters more than what it did in 2017, up 2% against 2017. |
