PVOIL appoints two new Deputy General Directors

On August 15, 2023, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint two Deputy General Directors of the Corporation.
At the ceremony were Mr. Phan Anh Minh, a member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and head of PetroVietnam's Organization and Human Resource Management Department; Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL; PVOIL President and CEO Doan Van Nhuom, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of PVOIL; and the Standing Board of the Party Committee, the Board of Management, and the Board of Directors of PVOIL.
PVOIL made Mr. Hoang Dinh Tung, Head of Petroleum Products Trading Division, Deputy General Director of the Corporation, and made Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong, former Deputy General Director of PetroVietnam Fertilizer and Chemicals Corporation, Deputy General Director of the Corporation.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL, gave tasks to the new Deputy General Directors of the Corporation and praised Mr. Hoang Dinh Tung for his long-term commitment and for having grown through many positions while working for the unit that came before PVOIL. Mr. Tung's promotion to Deputy General Director of the Corporation is an honor and a sign that he is getting better at his job. At the same time, PVOIL also put Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong in charge of the Vietnam Oil & Gas Group.
Reviewing the outstanding achievements in production and business results of PVOIL in recent years and identifying difficulties and challenges in the coming time, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong believes that, with the solidarity and consensus of the Board of Directors, PVOIL will overcome difficulties, take advantage of opportunities, and adapt flexibly to continue the development journey.
The leadership team and employees of PVOIL hope that the new Deputy General Directors will continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, complete the tasks well, contribute to the development of PVOIL, and meet expectations according to the standards of PVOIL. the objectives and orientations of the Vietnam Oil & Gas Group.
Accepting the assignment, Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong expressed her honor to be assigned by the Vietnam Oil & Gas Group to hold the leadership position at PVOIL, a unit with many achievements and a long development history. This is an opportunity for her to work in a new environment. Huong committed to contributing her best to the Corporation's production and business activities. At the same time, she hopes to receive the direction of the Board of Directors, the support of the staff and employees during the time working at PVOIL.
At the ceremony, Mr. Hoang Dinh Tung thanked Leaders of Vietnam Oil & Gas Group and leaders, former leaders of PVOIL and its predecessors for their attention, guidance, and training, giving him the opportunity to train and grow through practice and trust in assigning important and honorable tasks.
He expressed his pride when he spent 23 years living and working at the predecessor unit and PVOIL. Receiving important tasks, he promised to be more aware of his own roles and responsibilities in order to continue to strive to complete the tasks assigned by the Group and Corporation leaders.
He pledged to work closely with the Board of Management, maintain internal unity, and aim to maintain and develop the efficiency of production and business activities of the Corporation in the coming time.
