[6] Meeting with the press before the Vietnam off-road auto racing tournament PVOIL CUP 2021 starts.
The meeting took place in an intimate atmosphere while all of participants obeyed regulations on Covid-19 pandemic prevention. The event was attended by representatives of major automobile and motorbike newspapers across the country as well as a large number of athletes who will compete at the PVOIL VOC 2021.
On December 1 afternoon, at InterContinental Westlake Hanoi in Tay Ho district, Hanoi, the Organizing Committee of the Vietnam Off-Road Auto Racing Tournament - PVOIL Cup 2021 (PVOIL VOC 2021) chair the meeting with representatives of major and reputable newspapers including VnExpress, VietnamNet, Dantri... At the same time, the organizers answered questions from athletes who will participate in the tournament.
At the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Dai Hoang, head of the Organizing Committee, General Director of OTV Media, affirmed his determination to successfully organize the PVOIL VOC 2021 tournament, despite the event had been delayed for more than two months. There are 77 teams registered to participate in the tournament, including many teams from the central and southern regions.

This year's tournament will have 4 competition classes including: Vietnam Pickup Class, Basic Class, Advanced Class and Extended Class. In addition, the race track was upgraded based on the unique terrain in Dong Mo (including 10 daytime racetracks and one Night Adventure track) to increase the attractiveness of the tournament. The organizers continue to apply the VOC Smart Timekeeper automatic scoring system developed and periodically upgraded by OTV Media and Otofun to ensure accuracy and fairness for the competition.
There will be a new feature in this year's competition. For the first time, 6 racetracks will take place at the same time to increase the attraction and drama for the racing teams. In 2021, there are 31 competitions in 4 categories. PVOIL VOC 2020 had only 26 competitions.

In addition, to ensure the Covid-19 pandemic prevention, the Organizing Committee of PVOIL VOC 2021 will increase the number of ambulances and specialized doctors while implementing regulations on rapid testing, isolation areas, and safety equipment for the Organizing Committee, Executive Board, athletes and spectators.
Regarding prizes, PVOIL VOC 2021 will have a total prize of more than 450 million VND. Of the amount, there are more than 300 million VND cash prizes and 120 million in-kind gifts of AT BFGoodrich tires (worth nearly 30 million VND each) and over 30 million VND PVOIL fuel vouchers.

With diverse competition content and a large number of participants, PVOIL VOC 2021 promises to be a festival for those who share the same passion for off-roading. The press conference is the event marking the official kick-off of the Vietnam Off-Road PVOIL Cup 2021.
After the meeting, the Organizing Committee will complete road construction and vehicle inspection, adjust the automatic scoring system... At the same time, athletes will also actively practice to prepare for this year's tournament.
