PVOIL VOC 2021 will have 10 race tracks arranged around the central hill. This helps the competitors and audience to have more convenience to move and follow the contest. The competition classify includes Vietnam Pickup (BTVN), Basic (CB), Advanced (NC), Extended (MR).
Track number 1 – “bull racing” track - BTVN, CB, NC, MR: In 2021, this track will be redesigned half of the track, replacing the square part with a circle. Each team will have to pass the circle before returning to the finish line or changing racers. Running around the large arc will help racers to get balance speed and grip of the road and get the optimal point between speed and grip.
Track number 2 – Speed racing – BTVN, NC, CB: The 2021 speed track is completely improved compared to previous years. In order to eliminate the unsafe factors caused by two cars running at high speed next to each other at corner, with this track, two cars will start and go straight and turn into two opposite directions. In addition to improving safety, it will make it easier for the audience to watch, more excited. This track is scored by an automatic timed Lazer system.
Track number 3 - Rally racing - BTVN, CB, NC, MR: With diverse terrain such as passing valleys, hills and rocky roads, this track gives racers the feeling of a mix with different types of terrain on the same track. The track has been improved compared to 2020. It is longer and the track will go to the hill on the right hand side.
Track 4 - Racing through the forest - NC, MR: With this track, racers will run through forest. On the road, there are many deep holes and complicated terrain that challenge the racers. This year the line is longer, going deeper into the right hand side.
Track number 5 - Death slope - NC, MR: This is one of the two most challenging race tracks of the tournament. It forces the cars to pass a steep ramp along mud hole then turn around in a V-hole with a depth of 2.5m and a square of 90 degrees. In order to reach the finish line, the riders will have to overcome inclined holes, long mud holes and a steep slope. The track is designed for two classes. Advanced Class will run on longer distances but with less difficulty than Extended Class.
Track 6 - Obstacle - MR: The two racing teams will start parallel, passing through two 2- meter-high concrete walls, then pass deep holes before returning to the finish line and the starting point. This track is designed specifically for Expansion Class. This year there were changes to the barricade, and the pits and mounds remained the same.
Track number 7 – Autogymkhana – BTVN, CB: The track is designed on a flat surface for two classes Basic and Vietnamese pickup. This track requires riders to have fast and skillful movement on narrow roads similar to Gymkhana racing techniques. This track is scored by an automatic timed Lazer system.
Track No. 8 - Incline Overtaking - CB, NC, MR: The main feature of this track is forcing racers to cross an incline many times, and there is a steep diagonal section. This track harmonizes 2 technical factors for handling sloping terrain and moving speed on bumpy road surfaces. This exam is designed for 2 classes Advanced and Extended.
Track No. 9 - Overcoming the hole and wooden bridge - BTVN, CB, NC: This is a long race that combines two skills in handling wooden bridges, holes and speed running skills on racing terrain. This year, the seesaw pit was moved to before the entrance of the wooden bridge. This track has moderate difficulty and is for three classes of Vietnamese Pickup, Basic and Advanced.
Track No. 10 - Shallow stream bed - MR: This is one of the tracks that has made up the brand of the PVOIL VOC tournament with a race track designed to go under a shallow stream. Racers have to move through the muddy stream, then move around the bushes and back to the stream. In 2020, this contest had no riders scoring points. Therefore, this year's exam will be kept the same as in 2020.
