On July 11th, 2023, PetroVietnam Oil Corporation organized a ceremony to appoint a new leader of the corporation’s Petroleum Technical and HSE division.
The ceremony was attended by PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom, representatives of the Board of Management, the Board of Directors of the Corporation, and all employees of the division.
Accordingly, the General Director of PVOIL appointed Mr. Nguyen Duy Long, Head of the PVOIL Project Management Division to hold the position of Head of Petroleum Technical and HSE Division of the Corporation from July 3, 2023.
Speaking at the assigning ceremony, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom acknowledged that the division had promoted the effectiveness of the merger of the previous 2 divisions. After the consolidation, the division's staff performed well in the task of advising and assisting the leaders of the Corporation in the preparation, operation, import, and export of goods at petroleum depots.
They performed well in the safety work, and fire and explosion prevention in the whole system while continuing to maintain the effectiveness of Project 1114 and Project 808 on improving service quality at petroleum stations and petroleum storage. The appointment of the Head of the division is to continue to carry out the organizational work of the division.
PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom asked Mr. Nguyen Duy Long to continue to promote his experience in leading the petroleum business unit and the project management board to approach the work and operate the Safety Technical Committee; building solidarity in the collective of staff and employees and promoting the capacity and qualifications of each working position; together with the Board of Directors to perform the assigned tasks, contributing to the completion of production and business tasks of the Corporation.
Accepting the assignment, Long sincerely thanked the Corporation's Board of Management for trusting and giving him the role. He hoped to continue to receive instruction from the Board of Management as well as the coordination and support of the staff of the division to perform the task he was assigned.
