PetroVietnam Oil Corporation held a ceremony on September 25th, 2023, to announce the decision to nominate Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuat as Member of the Board of Management and Director of PVOIL Bac Lieu. He is also the enterprise's Legal Representative, succeeding Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc, who was appointed by PVOIL to another assignment.
PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom, who is also Deputy Secretary of the Corporation's Party Committee, attended the Decision Announcement Ceremony. Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Ninh, PVOIL's Chief Accountant, as well as members of the PVOIL Bac Lieu Board of Management and important personnel, attended the ceremony.
Mr. Doan Van Nhuom stated at the ceremony that replacing the position of Director of PVOIL Bac Lieu is to implement and ensure the Party's principles and rules on personnel work.
Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuat previously worked at PVOIL's predecessor unit and gained valuable practical expertise while rotating through business units in several locations. Mr. Doan Van Nhuom asked the company's leaders, officers, and employees to work together and support Thuat in completing the allocated responsibilities and propelling the company forward.
At the same time, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuat must actively understand and integrate work with the team in order to perform well on political, production, and business duties provided by the Corporation.
PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom praised Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc's accomplishments while working and holding leadership positions at PVOIL Bac Lieu, and urged that Mr. Phuc continue to try and make attempts to complete the assigned responsibilities in his new role.
Speaking to accept the assignment, Mr. Nguyen Huu Thuat thanked the Party Committee, Board of Management, and Board of General Directors of PVOIL for trusting and appointing him to the position. He realized that this is both an honor and a great responsibility. He wishes to receive support from the Company's leadership and employees to together complete assigned tasks, towards the common development of PVOIL Bac Lieu and Petrovietnam Oil Corporation.
