PVOIL organizes many social welfare activities

On June 25th 2020, a new block of classroom in Quynh Khe primary school was inaugurated in Quynh Phu district, Thai Binh province. PVOIL sponsored 4.5 billion dong for this project.
The newly-inaugurated projected is a 2-storey building with 6 classrooms and other facilities. This is one of PVOIL's activities showing the corporation’s responsibility to the community. Beside focusing on business and production, the corporation wants to contribute to the community development in remote localities.

On June 26th and 27th 2020, at 14 PVOIL petroleum stations in Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Gia Lai, Kon Tum and Binh Thuan provinces, members of Youth Union of PVOIL at the retail outlets donated nearly 4,000 sets of used clothes to needy people.
The clothes were put in front of the petroleum stations for all residents to pick up themselves. During this trip, members of PVOIL Hai Phong Youth Union coordinated with Youth Union of Hung An commune to visit and donate gifts, clothes to two families which had suffered a fire in Bac Quang district, Ha Giang provinces.
The program is a humane and meaningful activity organized by the Youth Union of PVOIL and employees in the whole system.

Earlier, on June 16th, 2020, representatives of PVOIL Phu Yen and the Fatherland Front Committee in Son Phuoc commune conducted a handover ceremony of a charity house to So Minh Lanh in Son Hoa district, Phu Yen province.
Mr. Lanh’s family, which belongs to ethnic minority community in the province, is facing a difficulty. PVOIL Phu Yen has financed 35 million dong to build his new house.

On June 18, 2020, after the schools were reopened when the COVID-19 pandemic was controlled, the Labour Union Executive Committee and Youth Union of PVOIL Hanoi and its branches and representatives in Lao Cai’s petroleum stations visited teachers and students of the ethnic minority boarding school in the province’s Ta Thang commune, Muong Khuong district.
During the visit, the delegates presented 90 cotton blankets, 50 cushions, 100 sets of stainless steel cups, bowls and candies to the students. The gifts worth more than 47 million dong.
