PVOIL organizes conference to research the resolutions of the 13th Party Central Committee’s fifth plenum

On September 27, 2022, PVOIL’s Party Committee organized a conference on research, study, review the Resolution of the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee under the plan No. 269-KH/DU decided on July 11, 2022 by Vietnam Oil and Gas Group. The conference also included a talk on global situation.

Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation, and PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom chaired the conference.

Attending the conference were members of the Corporation's Party Committee, Board of Management, Board of Directors, Board of Supervisors, Chief Accountant, Chairman of the Trade Union, Secretary of the Youth Union, Heads and Deputy Heads of Divisons, Executive Committees of branches and Party committees under the Corporation's Party Committee, Directors, Deputy Directors of affiliated units, Chairman of subsidiaries. The conference was held both physically at the PVOIL headquarters and online to all PVOIL affiliates and Party committees.

Addressing the Conference, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation stated that the issues discussed and decided by the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee were significant issues. They have strategic and long-term significance for the nation's sustainable development in the future, as the Party's policy on a development of agriculture, rural areas, farmers, and economic development.

As a result, the Party Committee of PVOIL is aware of the significance of resolutions and arranges a conference so that the Resolutions of the fifth Conference may be held as a Party Committee with numerous party bases and party members. It was fully comprehended and conveyed to all levels of Party committees and Party Committee members in the year of the 13th Party Central Committee.

Deputy head of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee's Propaganda and Education Committee To Dai Phong participated and delivered resolution No. 18-NQ/TW from the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee, which emphasized the need to continue innovating, complete improvements to institutions and policies, and increase the effectiveness and efficiency of land management and use in order to create a driving force for our nation to become a high-income developed nation.

Resolution No. 19-NQ/TW on agriculture, farmers, and rural regions to 2030 with a vision to 2045 issued June 16, 2022. Resolution No. 20-NQ/TW on enhancing collective economic efficiency and sustaining innovation and growth in the new era. Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW on enhancing the caliber of party members in the new era and strengthening and consolidating the structure of the party.

Afterward, Ambassador and Vice Chairman of the National Border Committee Mr. Trinh Duc Hai updated the Russia-Ukraine conflict and how it has affected global politics and the economy, especially the oil and gas sector, which is directly tied to PVOIL's commercial operations.

At its conclusion, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong evaluated to research, study, master, and continue to spread the resolutions of the fifth plenum of the 13th Party Central Committee.

The discussion on international news gave PVOIL's officials and committees more useful and important information; further clarify the key points so that the assimilation of resolutions is adequate, as a basis for the effective grasping, propaganda, and implementation of the resolutions.
