Promote the use of biofuels to protect the environment

Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue, head of of the Steering Committee on Price Management, has asked relevant ministries and sectors to continue exploring ways to boost the share of biofuels in total petroleum consumption.

Specifically, in the Announcement No. 717 / TB-BCDDHG of the Steering Committee on Price Management, the price of petrol and oil in the world market tends to increase on the basis of the results achieved in the management of petrol prices in the past time, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue asked the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) to take the lead in coordinating with the Ministry of Finance to closely monitor the world petroleum products prices and regulate petroleum producst prices in accordance with Decree No. 83 / 2014 / ND-CP dated September 3, 2014 of the Government on petroleum and oil trading, properly using the price stabilization fund with appropriate dosage.

In case of large variable for the oil value, it must be temporary not deduct funds in a short time to stabilize petroleum product prices in the country. Continuing research for solutions topromote the increased use of biofuels in total petroleum consumption for the lower oil value and contribute to protect the environment.
