Petromekong’s Communist Youth Union organizes congress, term 2022-2027

In 2022, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union will organize a national conference for 12th term.

At PVOIL, all units of the corporation have been preparing for the Youth Union congress under the instruction of the Standing Party Committee with Directive No. 132/CT-DU signed on November 22nd 2021. The HCM Communist Youth Union at Petromekong was selected to organize first and all other units of the corporation will follow.

The congress which was organized on February 25, 2022 in Can Tho received participation of Mr. Vo Khanh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of PVOIL.

The congress also received attendance of members of the PVOIL's Youth Union, and Party Committee, Board of Directors of Petromekong as well as members of departments of the company and 50 delegates representing 100 Youth Union members of the company.

The congress focused on the following contents: (1) Summarizing and evaluating the results of the company’s Youth Union’s work during the 2017-2022 term; (2) Determining the direction and tasks of the Youth Union for 2022-2027 term; (3) Discussing and giving opinions for draft documents of PVOIL; (4) Electing the Executive Board of the Company's Youth Union, term 2022-2027; (5) Electing the delegation to attend the corporation’s 4th Youth Union congress.

Regarding the performance of the company’s Youth Union, the term, the Union has built and implemented activities in all areas, from education to Youth Union development, participating in Party building, making an important contribution to the overall performance of PVOIL.

The Congress elected the Executive Board of Petromekong's Youth Union, term 2022-2027. The board includes 9 members. At the conference, delegates elected Mr. Le Hoang Nhu to become the Secretary of the Company's Youth Union. At the first meeting, the Executive Board elected 2 Deputy Secretaries, an Inspection Committee consisting of 3 members and a chairman of the Youth Union’s Inspection Committee.

Speaking at the Congress, Mr. Vo Khanh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Vice President of PVOIL recognized and highly appreciated the results of the Youth Union's performance in the previous term, acknowledging organization task for the General Meeting.

He requested the Youth Union of Petromekong to continue organizing youth movement activities associated with the production and business activities of PVOIL and its units, contributing to improve production and business efficiency, promote and introduce images, products and PVOIL brand. This is a key task that holds a key position throughout the entire Youth Union and youth movement activities of PVOIL.

He requested the Party Committee and Board of Directors of Petromekong Company to continue support the Youth Union of the Company and carry out activities, contributing to the production and business tasks of the company.

After the congress, Youth Unions under the Corporation's Union will complete the work of organizing the Congress in March 2022, preparing for the upcoming Congress of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of PVOIL.
