2022 PVOIL Football Cup - Northern Regional Qualifier starts in Hai Phong City

The 2022 PVOIL Cup Football Tournament - Northern Regional Qualifier's Opening Ceremony was held in Hai Phong City on the afternoon of September 15, 2022.

Ten teams from 11 affiliated units and subsidiaries of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation competed in the qualifying round for the Northern region on three days (from September 15 to 17, 2022).

Teams competed to enter the top three for the final round in Da Nang City. Eight strongest teams from the two South and North will compete in the final round.

The 2022 PVOIL Football Tournament – Northern Regional Qualifier is divided into 2 groups:

Group A has five teams: PVOIL Thanh Hoa; PVOIL Hai Phong; collaboration PVOIL Thai Binh and Thai Binh PSC; PVOIL Phu Tho; PVOIL Cai Lan.

Group B has five teams: PVOIL Vung Ang; PVOIL Dinh Vu; PVOIL Nam Dinh; PVOIL Hanoi; PVOIL Lube.

The Northern qualifying round picked the top three teams, including PVOIL Nam Dinh, PVOIL Hanoi, and PVOIL Hai Phong, after three days of thrilling battle, and fair play.

- First prize, worth 10,000,000 VND, belongs to: PVOIL Nam Dinh
- Second prize, worth 7,000,000 VND, belongs to: PVOIL Hanoi
- Third prize, worth 5,000,000 VND, belongs to: PVOIL Hai Phong
The above 03 teams represented the Northern region to attend the final round in Da Nang city.
