In honor of the International Day of Older Persons' 32nd anniversary (October 1, 1991–October 1, 2023), PetroVietnam Oil Corporation organized a meeting with retired officials to recognize their contributions to the creation and growth of the corporation.
Mr. Vo Khanh Hung, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Deputy General Director of the Corporation highlighted PVOIL's retired officers' achievements through 15 years of formation and development, particularly the results of production and business activities in 2022 and 2023, on behalf of the Corporation's Board of Directors, during the meeting in Ho Chi Minh City on September 29th, 2023.
Since its inception, PVOIL has grown greatly in terms of the retail system, revenue, and company production. This is due to the work of PVOIL professionals and employees over the years. Mr. Vo Khanh Hung extended to the retired officers the corporation's Board of Directors' best wishes. Simultaneously, he expects that retired officers will continue to monitor, encourage, and provide ideas for the corporation's ever-expanding development.
Speaking at the meeting, Ms. Pham Thi Loi, Head of the Corporation's Retirement Liaison Committee, expressed her gratitude to the Corporation's Board of Directors for always paying attention and creating conditions for the Liaison Committee's activities as well as for taking care of retired officials.
On this occasion, the corporation's leaders and the corporation's Trade Union celebrated the 60th, 65th, 70th, and 75th birthdays of 28 retired officials.
PVOIL currently has around 730 retired officers residing in local retirement groups. PVOIL and the Retirement Liaison Committee planned sessions for retired officials in Hanoi, Nam Dinh, Thai Binh, and Vung Tau, in addition to the meeting in Ho Chi Minh City.
