The designated representative of PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) to serve as Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Vung Tau has been replaced.
As a result, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang no longer serves as PVOIL's authorized agent at PVOIL Vung Tau. He is also no longer a member of the Board of Management and has resigned as Chairman of the company's Board of Management to take on new responsibilities.
On November 1, 2023, PVOIL Vung Tau held a ceremony to announce the company's Board of Management Resolution appointing Mr. Tran Hai Binh to the position of Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Vung Tau.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee, Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation, Mr. Le Van Nghia, Member of the Board of Management of the Corporation, leaders of the Corporation's specialized departments, the Board of Directors, and key staff of PVOIL Vung Tau attended the resolution announcement ceremony.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong stated on the occasion that PVOIL Vung Tau is a large-scale business unit with effective production and business activities even during market downturns. It contributes significantly to the corporation's total success in the industrial retail sector.
The chairman recognized the accomplishments of PVOIL Vung Tau's leadership and staff, as well as Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang personally, throughout his more than 5 years as Chairman of the Company's Board of Management.
Assigning tasks to the new Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Vung Tau, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong hopes that Mr. Tran Hai Binh, with many years of experience working in the petroleum industry, will continue to promote the results achieved by PVOIL Vung Tau as well as the tradition of solidarity between PVOIL in general and PVOIL Vung Tau.
He urged Mr. Tran Hai Binh, together with the Board of Directors and Board of Management of PVOIL Vung Tau, to continue to maintain the efficiency of production and business activities of the company, maintaining the major contributing role and position of PVOIL Vung Tau in the overall development of PVOIL.
Speaking to accept the assignment, Mr. Tran Hai Binh thanked the PVOIL Board of Management for trusting and assigning him the task. Clearly defining his responsibilities in his new position, Binh pledged to constantly strive to learn, together with the Board of Management of PVOIL Vung Tau, to overcome limitations and shortcomings, promote strengths, and maintain the company's tradition of stable and sustainable development.
At the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Duc Thang sent his thanks to the corporation's Board of Management, the leadership team, and the employees of PVOIL Vung Tau for supporting him during his recent work so that he could successfully complete the tasks assigned by the corporation. He wished PVOIL Vung Tau to successfully complete its production and business tasks in 2023 and the following years.
