Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoang - Head of the Organizing Board of PVOIL Cup 2020 Vietnam Off-road Racing
At the press meeting, Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoang - Head of the PVOIL Vietnam Off-Road Cup 2020’s Organization Board confirmed this year’s contest maintains the number of racing teams at 80 with 160 racers. Race categories include Vietnam Pickup, Basic, Advanced, and Expand.
The organizers will maintain Night of Adventure contest and a free shuttle bus system to transport audience from the city to the venue) as well as deploying side programs such as test drive, offroad experience to serve the audience.
In addition, organizers will also upgrade the scoring system for better accuracy, issue an Otofun Racing License to the athletes. In particular, the track construction work this year has a big change when organisers assigned two separated groups taking responsibility in designing and building.
Several new elements have also been added to the track designing which is done by an experienced team. The final purpose is to create the higher difficulty and challenging to racers.
Regarding awards, PVOIL VOC 2020 has a total prize of more than VND400 million. In which more than VND300 million will be given in cash and more than VND100 million in gifts.

Speaking at the press meeting, Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tu - Deputy General Director of PVOIL expressed: "Although being influenced by the Covid-19 pandemic, with our best efforts, PVOIL and OTV Communications have found solutions to overcome difficulties to organize this contest. We are very pleased to contribute to giving the teams a playground. This is also a clear sign of the long-term cooperation between PVOIL and OTV Communications Company".

In addition to the meeting with the press, the PVOIL VOC 2020’s Organization Board, sponsors, and media sponsors spent nearly 1 hour answering questions of athletes, teams on competition regulations as well as arbitration.
With diverse competition content and a large number of participants, PVOIL VOC 2020 expected this will be a festival for those who share a passion for off-road.
Sun exposure, rain, stay up at night and muddy ... are specialties only available at VOC - where audiences and athletes enjoy from a fiery atmosphere and spectacular performances.
The PVOIL VOC 2020 will officially take place on September 26 and 27 at the Vietnam National Village for Ethnic Culture and Tourism (Dong Mo) - Son Tay - Hanoi.
