PVOIL organized competitions "Good Sales Team" the third time – in 2018

In order to diversify the forms of training, check the professional knowledge and improve the quality of the workforce of the staff of petroleum stations, PVOIL organized the skill contest for petroleum stations "Good sales team" the third time - in 2018. The contest is also an environment for employees of petroleum stations in PVOIL system to exchange, share and exchange experiences, attached to the work and the unit is working.

Teams will take test the theoretical part in gameshow. Accordingly, the candidates will be asked questions about the knowledge of petroleum retail business; commodity management; HRM; equipment management at petrol stations; accountant petrol stations; occupational health and safety - fire prevention and fighting in petrol stations; Content related to the implementation of Project 1114, implementation of PVOIL Easy program; knowledge of bio-ethanol E5. In the practice test, teams will take (1) practice sales at petrol stations and (2) practice importing from tank trucks and report in sales shift Teams will take test the theoretical in gameshow. Especially in the way of organizing this skill contest, PVOIL member units submit the list of employees of the contest (472 petrol stations manager and 1,642 sales staff); Contestants will select randomly the list of each unit with a team of 5 people (according to the structure of 01 petrol stations manager and 4 sales staff). The team list is announced to the Unit 04 days before the Competition. This requires all employees of petroleum stations throughout the PVOIL system have to study, train their theoretical knowledge and practical skills; in the spirit of any petrol stations manager, any sales staff can participate in the competition; taking the contest becomes a real test of the workmanship, not the selection of the best candidates.


Mr. Nguyen Hoang Tuan - Secretary of Party Committee, Chairman of Board of Management of PVOIL, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong – President & CEO of PVOIL together with members of Board of Management, Board Of Directors, Trade Union Chairman, Secretary of Youth Union, PVOIL's Divisions, PVOIL's Office, Leaders of PVOIL’s affiliates, PVOIL’s subsidiaries attended, instructed and encouraged the teams; Nearly 600 officials and employees participated in the contest.


In the south, 60 contestants representing staffs of the 12 PVOIL’s subsidiaries participated in the contest. Da Nang (PVOIL Mien Trung) on August 10th 2018. After a day of competition, the contest was successful. First prize (PVOIL Vung Tau); Second Prize (PVOIL Phu Yen, PVOIL Sai Gon); Third prize (PETROMEKONG, PVOIL Binh Thuan, TIMEXCO); Encouraged (PVOIL Mien Trung, PVOIL Tay Ninh, PVOIL Bac Lieu, PVOIL Thua Thien Hue, PVOIL Tra Vinh, PETEC).


In the North, 50 contestants representing staffs of 10 PVOIL’s subsidiaries participated in the contest in Ha Tinh province (PVOIL Vung Ang) on August 24th 2018, results as follows: First prize (PVOIl Vung Ang); Second prize (PVOIL Ha Noi, PVOIL Ninh Binh); Third prize (PVOIL Nam Đinh, PVOIL Thai Binh, PVOIL Hai Phong); Encouraged (PVOIL Cai Lan, PVOIL Ha Giang, PVOIL Phu Tho, PVOIL Thanh Hoa).
