PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) has moved the approved representative of PVOIL as Chairman of the Board of Management at PVOIL Binh Thuan. This was done as part of staffing work.
Mr. Nguyen Mau Dung, a member of the Corporation's Board of Management, has been removed from his post on the Board of Management and as Chairman of the Board of Management of the company. Leaders from PVOIL brought Mr. Hoang Dinh Son onto the Board of Management of PVOIL Binh Thuan. Mr. Hoang Dinh Son is now the Chairman of the Board of Management at the Company.
On July 28, 2023, PVOIL Binh Thuan held an event to announce the Board of Management' decision to make Mr. Hoang Dinh Son Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Binh Thuan.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Board of Management of the Corporation, Mr. Nguyen Mau Dung, former member of the Board of Management and former Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Binh Thuan, leaders of specialized departments of the Corporation and the Board of Directors, and key staff of PVOIL Binh Thuan all attended the Announcement Ceremony.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong thanked and praised Mr. Nguyen Mau Dung at the event for his work as Chairman of the Board of Management of PVOIL Binh Thuan, as well as for his strong guidance and support of the Company's operations.
Mr. Cao Hoai Duong asked Mr. Hoang Dinh Son to push his experience in managing a unit with great business results, Timexco, because he had noticed and praised PVOIL Binh Thuan's hard work over the past few years and in the first half of 2023.
Mr. Hoang Dinh Son was also told to work with the Board of Management and employees of PVOIL Binh Thuan to build on what was already there in terms of the number of gas stations, business output, and market advantage in the area. He was also told to take advantage of business opportunities and the growth of local traffic to increase market share, improve business efficiency, and make workers' lives better.
At the same time, Mr. Cao Hoai Duong asked Mr. Hoang Dinh Son to keep promoting unity in the Board of Directors, actively discuss and support the Board of Management's business activities as much as possible, and carry out the plan to change the operating model of PVOIL Binh Thuan into a one-member limited liability company and the goals and tasks according to the policy and development direction of the Corporation.
Mr. Hoang Dinh Son thanked the Board of Management of the Corporation for giving him the job in PVOIL Binh Thuan. Mr. Son promised to work together with the Board of Management and employees to promote the traditions and existing foundation of the unit, taking advantage of opportunities to develop the retail system; effectively contribute to the implementation of the plan to change the operating model of the Company and the direction and orientation of the Corporation.
