On July 31st, 2023, the PetroVietnam Oil Corporation (PVOIL) held a ceremony to announce the decision to appoint new Director of PVOIL Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
Accordingly, Mr. Le Huu Hai, Deputy Director of PVOIL Ba Ria - Vung Tau was appointed as the branch Director from August 1, 2023. Mr. Le Huu Hai replaced Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung, who has begun to enjoy the retirement policy.
At the ceremony, PVOIL President & CEO Doan Van Nhuom acknowledged Hai’s achievements and thanked Mr. Tung for his contributions during his time at PVOIL as well as his role as the branch Director.
During the time of the Covid-19 pandemic, Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung together with staff of PVOIL Ba Ria - Vung Tau coordinated well with the specialized departments of the Corporation and partners to perform well tasks including import and export of crude oil, ensuring the operation of the Corporation as safe and effective.
Directing and assigning tasks to the newly-appointed Director of PVOIL Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Mr. Doan Van Nhuom asked Mr. Le Huu Hai to try harder and make more efforts in business management, internal and external to meet the requirements as the leader of the unit. He was suggested to continue maintaining and promoting the good results and foundations of the unit in order to ensure stability and high consensus among the employees.
He was also encouraged to continue to coordinate well with the specialized departments of the Corporation and its partners so that the Branch can complete the tasks assigned by the Corporation.
Accepting the assignment, Mr. Le Huu Hai thanked the Corporation's Board of Management for supporting and training him as well as entrusted him with the position of Branch Manager.
In this new position, Mr. Hai committed to enhance his roles and responsibilities and together with the staff promote good traditions, build solidarity and stability to effectively perform assigned tasks.
During the ceremony Mr. Nguyen Dinh Tung, who is Former Director of PVOIL Ba Ria - Vung Tau, expressed his gratitude to the Board of Management of the Corporation, the specialized departments and colleagues for supporting and accompanying him when he was on the post and during his 30 years working in the Oil and Gas industry and at PVOIL Ba Ria Vung Tau.
