In order to ensure Covid-19 pandemic prevention, the Organizing Committee of PVOIL VOC 2021 will not accept spectators under the age of 18 in the next two competition days.
Due to the complicated development of the Covid-19 pandemic, several new regulations at the Vietnam Off-Road Auto Racing Tournament PVOIL Cup 2021 (PVOIL VOC 2021) have been added.
At this year's tournament, the Organizing Committee will strictly control the audience to the event. Pandemic had affected the tournament schedule, causing delay by more than two months compared to the original plan.
Specifically, at a press conference held on the afternoon of December 1, Pham Thanh Le, a member of the Executive Board of PVOIL VOC 2021 said: "In order to ensure the regulations on prevention of Covid-19 pandemic at the tournament, the organizers will not welcome people under 18 to watch the race.
The COVID-19 vaccination for children aged 15-17 has just been implemented and has not been done nationwide. Most of audience at this age has not received vaccinations. In addition to the risk of infection, there are other risks for young audiences at challenging competitions. These are two main reasons why the organizers decided not to allow spectators under the age of 18.
In the regulations of PVOIL VOC 2021, the organizers have specific regulations for the audiences:
1. People under 18 years old are not allowed to enter the competition area and the areas where the tournament is held.
2. Must be vaccinated with 2 doses of Covid-19 vaccine (with a certificate or shown on the PC Covid, e-health application).
3. Must have a valid Covid-19 negative certificate within 72 hours.
4. Self-responsibility for security, safety, property (including vehicles and personal belongings) of individuals and relatives
5. Spectators are only allowed to watch in the areas arranged for audiences and must stand outside the tightrope to protect the track. It is strictly forbidden to cross the track and the safety corridor of the track.
6. Do not gather around the referee area and the entrance to the competition road, affecting the operation as well as the competition process of the athletes.
7. Do not climb trees to watch the event, endangering themselves and people around
8. Do not enter the functional tent areas of the Organizing Committee and the Executive Board when not on duty.
